Much loved British animated series telling the stories of a recurring cast of characters such as a trucker called Long Distance Clara and Mr Baskerville the Detective who all live on Pigeon Street in an unnamed British city.
In a small British town, there is an old lady who is making the best of her weak condition. However, the small time criminal mastermind, Scunner Campbell, has stolen a new invention that he hopes will grant superpowers to himself; as soon as he makes it work that is. However, a botched firing makes the beam go astray and it hits the Grannie instead. Suddenly, the lady gains super strength and speed to become the local superhero, Supergran. Now, Supergran protects her town from the forces of evil, although Scunner Campbell is not exactly a major challenge. Written by

Just adding to the international flavour of the comments, this show used to be on the ABC if I recall correct during afternoons in the late 80's. Silly, barely watchable but memorable, I still remember the catchy theme tune (sung by Billy Conolly, who'd've thought?). I remember watching some episodes but preferred cartoons such as The Real Ghostbusters or The Bugs Bunny Show at the time.
I have very little to add as I didn't watch the show much, but ten lines of text are required. Metal Mickey was another UK show where I remember the theme but hardly remember anything of the actual show itself.
