Matt Damon vs. Ben Affleck: Film Critics Are Forced to Pick a Favorite — IndieWire Critics Survey

21 February 2017 10:15 AM, PST | Indiewire | See recent Indiewire news »

Every week, IndieWire asks a select handful of film and TV critics two questions and publishes the results on Monday. (The answer to the second, “What is the best film in theaters right now?”, can be found at the end of this post.)

From “School Ties” to “Live By Night” and this weekend’s “The Great Wall,” Ben Affleck and Matt Damon have each — for better and worse — left a considerable and ever-increasing footprint in the cultural landscape. But while the world is wide enough for both of them, our hearts are not. And so, we forced our panel of critics to choose: Ben Affleck or Matt Damon?

There can be only one.

Behold the new trailer for Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur

20 February 2017 10:16 AM, PST | HeyUGuys.co.uk | See recent HeyUGuys news »

Guy Ritchie is about to deliver his own take on another English legend. Following his dalliance in Late Victorian London with Sherlock Holmes Ritchie and Co. are taking us back even further with Charlie Hunnam taking on the beard and mantle of King Arthur. Today a new trailer gave us a new look at what we’re to expect when the film is released on the 12th of May.

The song of the titular monarch has been sung often, however you can imagine that the director will bring his own sense of style and kinetic frenzy to proceedings. From what we’ve seen so far it has all this and more, with Hunnam providing a particularly grimy king.

Leaping into the fray with King Hunnam are Astrid Berges-Frisbey, Jude Law, Eric Bana, and Djimon Honsou.  Hermione Corfield, recently seen in xXx: Return of Xander Cage, is one »

Casey Affleck, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s Unbreakable Bond: From Their First Oscars to Life as Hollywood Royalty

From students at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School in Massachusetts, to Hollywood stars with nine Oscar nominations among them, Casey Affleck, his brother Ben Affleck and Matt Damon have come far. And stayed close through it all.

In 1997, Damon and the elder Affleck’s film Good Will Hunting — which also starred Casey — propelled them to fame and their first walk on the Academy Awards stage. Now, 20 years later, Oscar continues to smile on them: Damon is a nominated producer on Best Picture contender Manchester By the Sea, which features an Oscar-nominated performance from Best Actor hopeful Casey Affleck. In 2013, Ben »

From nothing comes a new TV spot for Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur movie

23 January 2017 1:52 AM, PST | HeyUGuys.co.uk | See recent HeyUGuys news »

Author: Jon Lyus

With Robin Hood: Origins in the pipeline with Taron Egerton it seems the myths and legends of England’s green and pleasant land are fair game and in fashion once more. Guy Ritchie, having taken Sherlock Holmes to dizzying new levels of pugilism rather than faithful pulchritude, is going back in time again. King Arthur: Legend of the Sword is the full title for Ritchie’s take on the legend of Excalibur, and the new TV spot is truly something else.

Placing Charlie Hunnam in the lead role was a fairly astute move. The actor seems perfect for the grimy, full-bearded experience of becoming a king. In this new spot he is given the spotlight and runs with it, once with a neat shoulder-mounted camera. There is a whole host of ridiculous action shots, but we’ve come to expect a certain visual flourish from Ritchie. It seems he won’t disappoint. »

Literally Just a Look at Jude Law's Naked Butt on The Young Pope

15 January 2017 8:20 PM, PST | POPSUGAR | See recent BuzzSugar news »

There's very little I can say about The Young Pope that the internet at large hasn't already said. I can, however, offer you a look at the most important part of Sunday's premiere episode: Jude Law's beautiful, bare butt. If you missed the show, know that you missed out on quite a few ridiculous moments, but this one may be the most memorable. Before we even hear the pope speak (but after he crawls out of a pile of naked CGI babies), we see him in the buff. First, he's just in the shower. But then, he gets out and drops his robe. Gasp. In all fairness, Law has done nude scenes in The Talented Mr. Ripley and Cold Mountain, but it's good to know the kid's still got it. You're welcome. »

Matt Damon's Smile Has Been Making Us Swoon For Over 28 Years

12 January 2017 2:05 PM, PST | Popsugar.com | See recent Popsugar news »

Matt Damon has been in the spotlight for more than 28 years now, but we still can't get over how gorgeous he is. The 46-year-old actor first stole hearts with his roles in movies like The Talented Mr. Ripley, Good Will Hunting, and Saving Private Ryan, but it was his role as Jason Bourne in the Bourne franchise that really made our crush go over the top. Aside from being one of the highest-grossing actors of all time, Matt is also a husband and father; he's been married to his wife, Luciana Barroso, since 2005, and together they have four children: Isabella, Gia, Stella, and Alexia, Luciana's daughter from a previous marriage. Much like his family, we will also never get tired of seeing that sweet, sweet smile.
