Fictionalised biopic of Finnish tenor Mauno Kuusisto, taking its title from his most popular song which remains the all-time best-selling single record in Finland. An orphaned boy, singing in the forests while herding cattle, gets a chance to take singing lessons and grows up to be one of the most popular performers of sentimental songs appealing to the Finnish public.
