Miitomo is Launching This Week Along With New eShop

Nintendo's step into the world of mobile gaming (and a more unified community system) is finally ready to launch in North America.  Today, Nintendo revealed exactly when fans can download the Miitomo app, as well as detailed new changes coming to the eShop.  Come inside to check it all out!

Nintendo's first foray into the mobile market is coming this week, Thursday March 31st, along with a couple other things.  It will see the launch of their new user rewards porgram, My Nintendo, and will bring about their new eShop that will be unified between systems, allowing you to browse and download from virtually any device.  While the other consoles have been doing it for a while, it's nice to see Nintendo get current and competitive.  Check out their press release below for all the pertinents:

Jon Favreau’s career is a fascinating one, and like Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, he wrote his way into the business. Getting started by writing “Swingers,” which was directed Doug Liman and starred Favreau and his pal Vince Vaughn. After making his directorial debut with “Made” in 2001, the triple threat actor/director/writer kept expanding his horizons, delivering the beloved smash hit “Elf” in 2003. Soon he was immersing himself in the world of blockbuster filmmaking. People wondered if Favreau was the right choice to helm an action-filled super hero movie like “Iron Man” before its release, but forgot, he had already learned the world of CGI and greenscreen on the children’s film “Zathura: A Space Adventure” (which was his training ground for this world). Review: Timeline Star Wars (card game)

You may have noticed that Star Wars is back on the front pages of pretty much everything at the moment, not that it ever really went away, but with the release of The Force Awakens it seemed like the perfect opportunity to check out the Timeline Star Wars game from Asmodee Games. Designed for between two and eight players, Timeline Star Wars aims to find out just how well the players know the films.


Getting started with Timeline Star Wars couldn't be easier, well, unless you actually get someone else to do it for you. The game consists of 110 small cards (about half the size of a credit card) that come shrink wrapped in a beautiful embossed tin showcasing Darth Vader, The Emperor and Boba Fett.
