Rare precious images that tell for more than one can imagine

This film is an extraordinary piece of work that overcomes immense odds just to even survive. The true story that is told in this film is even more enthralling to read about. The film is not edited for modern day presentation, but is authentic. I liked the film and appreciate the work that was undertaken. The bitter cold that prevailed almost kept the camera from operating. The lubricants that were used at the time would not allow the operator to freely crank the camera mechanisms without some stiff resistance. One should follow up watching this film and read the diary journal of the ill-fated mission.
