Willem Defoe falls in love with the girl, everyone in Marrakech dies of the plague, and Christopher Walken jumps off the parking garage. Willem Defoe hides in a weird place and remembers all the scenes we already saw once, but they contain no new information so it's a waste of ten minutes of flashbacks. Somehow Sandii had something to do with a little square brown card, perhaps some kind of data card. We see the same kind of card in the footage of people dying in Marrakesh, so maybe it contained the plague code. how the girl had anything to do with the scientist other than seducing him isn't clear. Nor is it clear where she disappeared to, why she didn't die of the plague, nor what the significance was of Defoe falling in love with her. Most perplexing was why two guys smart enough to plan this whole caper didn't take the money out of the bank when they had the chance, one minute they say "the whole thing is over, it's time to move on", and the next the account is gone, taken by the 'bad guys' one supposes. There was way too much 'art' and too little 'dialogue' so it was impossible to figure out what was happening or why. The sex scenes were good. If anyone has any idea what the heck was going on in this movie please post it here. All I can figure is that the girl Sandii somehow figured out how to make a plague to kill everyone and get away without being killed, and also how to gain access to the money, then how to escape the mysterious corporations and evil japanese guys. or something like that.
