The dream scene between Traci (Suzie) and Joey Silvera (Billy Steele) where she does an all-in-one aboard a sailboat is one of her best in any of her films. The plot of Suzie's rise to singer superstardom is silly, but it's loaded with plenty of sex scenes and her singing is quite good compared to Ginger Lynn's badly dubbed and lip synched music vocals.

Inferior to the first part, but with Ginger Lynn and Traci Lords!

John Leslie is a manager, looking for a new girl after Suzie left him in part 1. Part 1 was made 2 years earlier and starred Shauna Grant as Suzie. Leslie's assistant, played well by Ron Jeremy, is looking for girls that might qualify. Traci Lords turns up and Leslie is very charmed by her capacities, both in bed and as a singer.
This sequel is still well made, with an obvious bigger budget than most other porn productions. Still, the humour is not as convincing as in the original. And what is more: the sex scenes in the original fitted neatly into the story. In this sequel they don't fit and are seemingly just thrown in for good measures. Take the nudist camp scene for instance. The circumstances leading to that scene are highly illogical, and the eagerness of the girls and Jeremy and Silvera are actually fully out of place.
The acting on the other hand is not bad. Ginger Lynn and John Leslie act good, but they are surpassed by Ron Jeremy, proofing he is an actor really. Traci Lords is singing a lot in this movie. But either she simply can not sing, or her singing is serving as a spoof. If the latter is the case, than quite a lot of music had better been cut, before releasing this movie.
Still I consider this movie to be one of the better porn movies, produced in the Golden Age of porn: the 70's. Should you dislike porn, then get another film, otherwise: enjoy! I rate this flick a 6 out of 10.

Traci Lords Takes Over for Shauna Grant

The original featured Shauna Grant who was terrific in her role as Suzie Mitchell. But alas Shauna committed suicide so in this sequel they replaced Shauna with the new Queen of Porn Traci Lords. Now we all know what happened in July 1986 but before she was outed as underage Traci dominated the porn world. Her videos outsold all other starlets and she earned BIG$ despite her claims in her 2003 autobiography Underneath it All that she made $35K to $40. This figure was verifiably untrue.
John Leslie plays the initial agent who invites Traci on to his boat for a "meeting". Before that Leslie enjoys the delectable Heather Wayne in the shower and locker room floor of his club. Leslie's driver/ass't played by Ron Jeremy calls Traci and then hands the phone to Leslie who makes the appointment with her. Current digitalization of this movie provides terrific pixilation so you really see this woman/child in all her fabulous beauty. Leslie gets down to action with Traci and we see all her skills.
