When Egon walks straight into the pool and sink to the bottom, Benny and Kjell is seen yelling; 'Egon!' During editing they didn't have the recording of the actors yelling, so Knut Bohwim and Tom Matsen dubbed the yell.
Originally, the opening of the movie was going to have the gang walk around in Oslo on 17th of May, Norway's national day, not knowing which day it was. When they arrived on Karl Johans gate, they would be surprised by the marching bands and people. This opening would later be reworked for Olsenbanden og Data-Harry sprenger verdensbanken (1978).
