Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

In the episode 147 "Artless" while the 4 Ninja turtles visit an art museum in Florence, Italy. The naked men statues and the painting with naked men can be seen.

The character of Mona Lisa, a human woman mutated into a large lizard or newt-like humanoid, retains a humanoid female figure and wears no clothing except for a bandanna round her neck; this is presumably justified by her reptilian/amphibious skin serving as a covering as opposed to clothing.

Some mild violence. No blood or gore.

Although the original comic book series has the turtles drinking beer, the worse the cartoon portrays is possibly wine or cigarettes used by antagonistic characters. The old cartoons on VHS had an anti-smoking awareness message before the start of the show.

The pilot episode involves a scene in which two male characters are unwillingly strapped to operating tables and are mutated into animals. No bodily fluids are shown.

The aliens, robots and heavy machinery portrayed may scare small kids.
