Sexual Hee Haw, 25 October 2000

I catch reruns of this on Show2 and couldn't resist a comment or two. This is one of the corniest shows I've ever seen, and I'd even say it might be numero uno. The plots, characters, and story lines are worse than most porno films. One example is the cheesy theme song that sounds like it was written by a 8 year old, (brother Randy is always horny as hell... at the Hot Springs Hotel... Hot Springs Hotel) Here's a typical story, the three main characters are brother and sister who own a hotel and their busty side kick at the front desk. Well, brother sees a sexy babe follows her to her room and you can guess what happens next, then switch to sister in bed with latest boy friend and she wonders if he sees other women, then switch to scene not related to the story of sidekick in bed with a man she's just met at the gym, then finally a long encounter between sister and boyfriend after he tells her he's not cheating on her. Another story has inspectors threatening to close the hotel, well brother Randy bangs the woman inspector and then the woman inspector shows up with the man inspector in just her bra and thong panties and yeah, you guessed it. It's all so stupid and innate it's hilarious. The women's nude scenes are very nice, and despite other reviews not always silicone based, although the two women who are the main characters are silicone city. Frontal nudity is non-existent, guess this is to get it by the Showtime censors, yeap they have censors too, otherwise uncut Vivid Video movies would have been shown a long time ago. Some of the sex scenes are laughable, in one scene the woman's womanly parts would have had to of been in the middle of her back to make the action possible, in another they would have had to be above her naval. I guess they did this so they could say they were just "nude cuddling" and not in a sex act, once again to slide it by any censors. Anyway it reminds me of that old country music show Hee Haw, which not only tried to be corny, but relished in it. Esp. after this one show with a cheesy "Southern" Girl, with this really bad southern accent, who brother Randy.. well you know. Check this out if you want a good laugh and are not offended by sluts and TnA.

Samantha Phillips...WOW!!!, 21 August 2005

Hot Springs Hotel is typical of some of the stuff you would find on
late night U.S. cable T.V. in the mid-90's. I would only watch this if
I happened to be suffering from insomnia or sleeplessness as TMN Canada
would show this late at night. This $1.98 series about two siblings and
their busty friend who run a hotel where inhibitions run wild is
extremely tame compared to the middlecore they show these days. The
women are the typical ones you would find in these films with bodies
enhanced by David Schwimmer and Chris Cooper. Glori Gold, who plays the
busty co-owner, also went to see the Breast Men but sadly has a very
unattractive face. The men in this show come off as one-dimensional and
the plots are similar to the ones from Faulty Towers but without
anything spectacular done with them.
However, there is one huge redeeming factor to see the show. Samantha
Phillips! Despite being 31 at the time, Phillips owns as Katherine
Matthus. The Kat is one of those women who don't need to shed her
clothing to turn you on. She looks delicious wearing the concierge
outfit; which consists of the shirt and jacket and a revealing
mini-skirt that shows off those awesome legs while her hair is tied up
and she wears glasses. She also spends a lot of time dancing in this
outfit (the best part of all, by far). It would not surprise me if
somebody at WCW may have seen the show as her character was a virtual
template for Stacy Keibler's Miss Hancock character when she made her
debut in 1999.
I doubt anybody is still showing this as many premium networks have
moved to more explicit fare. This could be airing in Canada, though (it
was airing in 2004), so if you have TMN you must check one episode and
see The Kat dance!

These actresses are too Hot!!, 30 October 1998

The women of "Hot Springs Hotel" are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen!! Showtime has really outdone itself this time! Kat (Samantha Phillips) and Lacey (Glori Gold) are two of the most perfect looking women that have ever existed, their mere presence on screen will make you wish you had VR to interact with them!! This is basically the best adult comedy on tv today and I hope that more people watch it and that Showtime keeps it running for years to come!

Oddly entertaining, 23 November 1998

So I'm flipping through channels late at night and I come across this strange show with naked women, little plot and bordering on Amateur filmmaking. Sounds bad, right? It is. But it also has a certain campy feeling. It's sickeningly entertaining. So much so that my friends come over to my house ever week now to watch it, not even for the naked women so much as just to see what strange scheme they'll concoct next in a blatant attempt to show nudity. It's not so much the nakedness itself as the trials and tribulations it takes to get there. I'm not altogether sure why I like this show, but I'm sure Showtime's getting the $20 back they put into each episode, and I for one hope they keep doing it.

Best show on T.V.!, 7 November 1999

This is some of the finest television going. I swear! Sure it is sexist, and a poor excuse for soft core porn, but the entertainment value is off the scale! There is nothing better to do than sit back on a Saturday night and laugh my ass off at this completely ridiculous show. I think there need to be more series like this one!

boring after awhile, 28 June 1999

Okay, lots of topless women. But they are all pure silicon. And
considering
Showtime's other series, its surprising how timid they are about showing
lower frontal nudity. Hands and sheets are strategically placed to always
cover this up in a way that would never happen during real
sex.
The acting is poor and the dialogue putrid. If you see one episode, there
is
no point in seeing any others. There are much better series out there for
soft-core.

This is the best show on TV, I guarantee., 9 March 2000

Finally, TV the way it was meant to be. Every now and then you can still catch reruns of "Hot Springs Hotel," and it's an absolute joy to see such a good show. I say that it's the best show on TV, and I mean it. Finally a show that realizes that 30 minutes is way too short to have any plot development or real characters, that it's the perfect time period for nice little snippets of soft-core porn. Every episode the same things happen: We meet amazingly hot women, they meet a guy, and we see a lot of tit shots of some of the most beautiful tits in the business. My only complaint is that we don't see Samantha Phillips naked enough, because her body is the greatest, and she would add something to the show. Still, there's no other show even close to this one. Watch it every chance you get.

Could be a lot better., 6 December 1998

I absolutely HATE when the Director and\or Cameraman can not hold the camera steady. Watching this show could give someone whiplash with all the twisty camera work. I also don't condone the self-mutilation of silicone implants, which almost every woman in this show seems to have. The Producers (the Dudelson brothers) did a much better job with their "Compromising Situations" show. I hope Showtime cancels it soon.

Corny Show but the women makes up for it, 29 May 2004

Now it's been a while since I posted a comment of anything on IMDb but I'll make my say on Hot Springs Hotel. This show can be a pain in the royal butt on certain episodes but it does have it's share of moments whenever they wake up and smell the roses. Now in this soft porn TV flick most of these actors may never get a chance to go mainstream unless they got a good agent that's willing to believe them. If not they still be making b rated porn flicks which may never get them anywhere. The Hot Springs Hotel flick is among the corniest flick of them all even though you see plenty of eye candy on there. Some these actors I'm sure are still doing porn or some of them vanished completely. The acting is the most amateurist which you can bet you might as well change the channel if you start to get annoyed watching these people make complete geeks of themselves which of course is obvious this show is recommended for geeks only if they need to watch something that suits them, this show is for them.

Terrible everything but bodies, 11 July 2001
Author:

Yes the bodies in this show are amazing but what is not is the method the
director chooses to show them. The camera moves around so much it makes
you
dizzy. And geez, I would love to have the actor who plays the role of
Randy, but I sure don't like seeing him doing it every ten minutes of this
lame show.
This show could be computer generated by changing the background and the
face on whatever actor/actress (I use those terms loosely) the stars are
with. The show was interesting the first couple times but I have since
lost
interest. Usually that is hard to do when the women are so
hot.
