Priceless Early'70s Adult
18 March 2003 | by (Toronto, Canada) – See all my reviews

The previous comment about this movie is not the plotline for "Tropic of Passion". Knowing the way titles are changed on video, or even on cable, it's not surprising that information can get mixed up. The plot consists of a rich heiress that hires detective Johnny Wadd (John Holmes aka: John Duval) to retrieve a porno film she has appeared in that has fallen into the wrong hands. This movie is funny to watch, especially the fight scenes. The editing is awful, the music doesn't suit the scenes throughout the movie, and the sex scenes seem very awkward. Even with all of this, it's an enjoyable movie to watch. If you are interested in classic adult movie fare, especially adult movies shot on film from the heyday of the '70s, then this movie is a must see!
