To me this is a very special porno movie. This is the very first hardcore porno movie that I ever saw. I had only seen "softcore" porno's before and although some of those can be enjoyable they don't turn me on as much as a hardcore movie does.

I remember it was on VHS, the sound was bad and the picture was even worse but Farrah was really hot. Looking back at it the movie isn't anything that special but Farrah gave a really good performance, especially in the first scene. I must say that that first scene has really stuck in my mind during all these years. And that is understandable seeing as it was my first hardcore scene ever. Farrah had on a really tight black dress and I couldn't wait for her to get naked.

Keep in mind that this was shot back when Farrah looked really good. She had a spectacular body and a really beautiful face. She had great curves, big beautiful fake breasts, a nice tan and beautiful blond hair. Her face was spectacular, because she didn't just look pretty, she also looked really horny as well. This scene was the first time I ever saw a girl suck a rock hard cock. It was also the first time I saw a guy lick a girls pretty pink pussy. Not to mention the first time that I saw a cock slide in and out of a wet pussy. And last but not least, the first time I saw a guy blow his load on a beautiful girl's face.

Farrah gave a really good performance in this first scene. Her moaning was perfect along with her facial expressions. Especially the facial in this scene was great. Like myself, this guy has a monster load, that covers Farrah completely. It wasn't until later on, after seeing other scenes, that I found out that not all guys pack these kind of loads and that was really disappointing. This is just a porno, and its not very good. It is made entirely with porn stars using porno crewmembers and sets. The script is typical of porns that try to have a plot and fail. The only reason it gets a mention on IMDb is there's an edited version which you may find in your local video rental joint or on Netflix. The R-rated version is totally pointless, because the video and audio still stink and there is no full nudity or sex. This is such poor quality its not even suitable for a late-night Cinimax viewing. There are much better B-movies and Pornos-With-Plots available. Tight Spot doesn't even qualify as B-movie material because the production values are so poor. The unedited version is some of the lamest porn available from the mid-90's.

Misguided XXX attempt at a "mainstream" movie

An overdone porn feature by Gary Graver, also released with the XXX content removed by Troma, "Tight Spot" is not quite the remake of Orson Welles' "Mr. Arkadin" as IMDb lists, but clearly Graver having worked quite often with Welles felt free to steal basic elements of the great man's work. Running well over two hours long, it's a tough slog to watch and demonstrates the pitfalls of aspiring to making a mainstream movie chock full of hardcore porn content.

Unusual opening has tons of voice-over trying to set up an air of mystery, and then an oddball ski chase out of a no-budget Bond movie ripoff, very awkwardly drawing the viewer into an expose of some fictional billionaire "man of mystery", compared in the lousy dialogue to Gatsby and Howard Hughes.

Finding the dying skier are Tony Martino (the movie's star and narrator) and stripper Farrah in a very unusual variation on "meet-cute". They team up, following the dying man's words involving a mysterious billionaire named Nazarin, who could be ripe for being blackmailed. Both Tony and Farrah decide to investigate him and the poorly structured movie starts off with two Tony/Farrah sex scenes leading off a couple of hours of wandering around as Tony unravels the boring mystery in time for a final sex scene and a violent conclusion.

It's quite dreary, and the print I watched ran two hours and 15 minutes long, evidently a work print, since there was no sound in several places -unfinished. The director's voice is heard loudly yelling instructions during several sex scenes, another indicator that this was not the final edit with post-production incomplete.

Mike Horner is unusually subdued as Nazarin, a man supposedly wanting to find out about his past (claiming amnesia a decade back) or that could just be another lie. Shanna McCullough is lovely as always as his wife getting a divorce, Nikki Sinn pops up as another mysterious character as his wealthy ex-wife, now hanging out with shady John Decker, and Fallon & Missy are thrown into the stew in a threesome with Missy's real-life partner Mickey G. Also in the mix is sexy Gabriella Gotti (stage name suitable for a mafia wife) running a porno shop who Tony bangs on the premises.

Graver photographs tons of location shots that are meant to imply a super-production but merely add to the padding. Instead of a lost classic, it's a junker, the sort of errant movie that Troma's honcho Lloyd Kaufman liked to purchase, mutilate and sell to a gullible "so bad it's good" fan base for schlock.
