I've had this disc in a pile with a bunch of others that I never got around to for at least two years now. Got snowed-in over the weekend, and since I don't have cable at the moment-it gave me an excuse to go through some of my ridiculously large backlog of DVDs that I haven't yet watched-and amongst them was this gem. I knew absolutely nothing about this film or the mini-series...never heard of it, knew nothing about the plot- hell...I didn't even know it was a porn film. From the title I figured it would be some kind of lame mondo film. I must say after watching-that I was VERY pleasantly surprised by this one. Unfortunately-I only have this entry in the series-but rest assured that I will be hunting down the other ones soon...

Although I haven't yet gotten to see the first entry-here's what I gather so far. Nina is a f!cked up and manipulative little slut in an equally f!cked up family. She begins an incestuous relationship with her father which eventually becomes known to her mother as well. Mom starts downing pills as a means to cope-and Nina uses her sexual wares to seduce everyone in sight and toy with them for her own satisfaction and personal gain. In this particular entry-Nina is already well into her relationship with her dad-and she also has a female friend that she likes to toy with and manipulate. They had a previous sexual encounter of which the female friend wants more-but Nina only agrees if her friend brings her brother over and they both f!ck him! Of course the friend agrees-they both bone the brother!! Later on Nina forces her friend to go down on her mom as well!!! Then the friend gets all whacked out and ends up working at a massage parlor because she's so destitute with guilt and shame!!!! This only scratches the surface as to what goes on in this particular entry-for more details I highly suggest you watch it for yourself...

Wall-to-wall arousing sex scenes and packed with sleazy incest themes-TABOO American-STYLE is sure to become a new personal favorite if the other entries hold up as well as this one. The storyline is complex and interesting (if a bit too twisted for the average viewer...) and the acting is really quite decent overall given that it's a bunch of pornstars trying to turn in 'serious' dramatic performances. Raven absolutely owns the role of the bitchy, twisted, and self-serving Nina-and most of the supporting actors/actresses fill their roles nicely as well. All of the female performers are also attractive if you can get past the three-foot-high 80s hair-dos. I absolutely give this one my full recommendation for those that enjoy sleazy porn with a solid storyline. I personally can't wait to get my hands on the rest of the series...9/10
