Hotellet is all about the Faber family who owns the Hotel Faber. As the head of the family commits suicide, the rest of the family try to pick up the pieces after him. The series is clearly inspired by Twin Peaks and Empire.

This is one of the best TV-series I´ve seen for years. I love the dialogue and having been a taxi-driver myself I feel very familiar with the plot. I think the producer has done a great job here - to make it so natural.. (perhaps being a taxi -driver himself..? The series reminds me somehow of Steven Bochco´s "Hill Street Blues" & "Brooklyn South" which unfortunately was taken off all too soon.. I hope this one will go on for years, quite something different than all the other American rubbish we are being fed up with..
