During a feud between sheep-men and cattle ranchers, Sheriff Richards ( George Lessey ) is murdered by a man with the ace of spades tattooed on his arm. When he learns of his father's death, Chick Richards ( Yakima Canutt ) returns from college but seems to do nothing to avenge the murder, appearing in public as a coward. Soon after Chick's return, a mysterious white-robed rider appears in town, fighting for the rights of the oppressed sheep-men. Black Morgan ( Lew Meehan ), the leader of the cattlemen, attacks Alice Norris ( Nell Brantley ), Chick's onetime sweetheart, and The White Rider appears, besting Morgan in a rough fight. The White Rider then removes his robe, reveals himself to be Chick, and arrests Morgan, who has the ace of clubs tattooed on his arm, for the murder of his father. Chick and Alice then become married.
This 1925 silent western was produced by Ben Wilson Productions, with filming locations at Kernville, California. Sadly, it may now be a lost silent film.
