When this film was screened at Cinema 2000 (a video theatre set up to skirt Ontario Censor Board regulations, which were restricted to movies to projected on film) in 1971, Toronto police raided the premises and charged that the movie was obscene. Charges were subsequently dropped and the movie continued to play at Cinema 2000. However, when the movie was submitted to the Ontario Censor Board, so that it could play regular movie houses, the board insisted that all full frontal female nudity had to be removed before the film would be approved. Distributor Marden Films complied with the order.See more »

For a soft-core porn movie, this film has quite a few funny moments, and works (kind of) as a parody of Shakespeare's play. A lot of the references are to late sixties pop culture and there are some genuinely erotic scenes.
