Storyline

Frankie Wells is an evil manipulator. She murders her mother to get her inheritance, but doesn't get caught. Then, two years later, she gets her brother, Danny to murder her boyfriend. Frankie and Danny get arrested because the police are suspicious. He feels really guilty, and confesses everything, but saying that only he killed him, not Frankie. They are both sentenced to 100 years in jail, but Frankie does not return for trial, and runs away. Danny finally realizes that his sister was using him and he tells the police that Frankie masterminded everything. He calls her to ask her to call back, so the police can trace her. She does, and Danny tells her he is angry and betrayed that she used him like any other man. Written by Celine <celine@cheerful.com>

Not terribly boring but not terribly great
13 January 2002 | by (Fairbanks, U.S. Territory of Alaska) – See all my reviews

Where to start? Kristy Swanson is indeed drop dead gorgeous, that is fact not opinion and anyone who thinks she is not that pretty really needs to open their eyes and learn what real outward beauty is... she is a shining example! In this movie her character uses that beauty wonderfully. Unfortunately, what's not wonderful is the writing here but that's almost to be expected considering this a made-for-tv movie and not many of those are top of the line quality. The only quality here was really in the ability to keep you interested in the path of this tramp, slut, whore on her way to the pokey where she certainly wouldn't be getting any more pokey from the rich guys she swindled and ripped off along the way. I was hoping to actually feel for Ms. Swanson's character, to have some compassion for why she lived the way she did... sadly, no compassion, got close but the writing and directing just didn't get me there. And the ending? Oy. Got to where it was completely predictable... honestly, I didn't feel it was predictable at the beginning - would she get away? If she did get away with her crimes it actually would have made this better but that's not saying a lot. This just wasn't that great, not boring, kept me interested, not terribly ridiculous, from a man's point of view Kristy Swanson was awesome to look at but this movie was bland and mostly just a waste. Grade: D
