Due to high ratings, SWAT Kats became the no.1 syndicated animated show of 1994. The results were approved by Nielsen Television Index (NTI) and Nielsen Syndication Service (NSS). Due to the success, Toon Magazine released a huge article about SWAT Kats in Fall 1994. There was also a SWAT Kats ad that was published in Animation Magazine (October/November issue - 1994) saying that there will be new episodes and new merchandise for SWAT Kats in 1995. But the show immediately got canceled with 3 unfinished episodes (The Curse of Kataluna, Turmoil 2: The Revenge, and Doctors of Doom). See more »
This show was really cool. There was a lot of creativity here, especially in the characters departments. The gadgets were also pretty cool. And the animation... well what can I say? It was simply great and well done. Catch the reruns on the Cartoon Network.
