Storyline

The Walsh Family just moved to Beverly Hills, 90210. School is starting at West Beverly Hills High. The Twins, Brandon (older by 30 seconds) and Brenda have problems in school when they get there they don't have friends. Until Steve, Andrea, Kelly and Donna come along and the whole gang goes to a party. Brandon is alone until he meets a normal girl named Marianne Moore. David Silver has a problem of his own. He wrecks Steve Sanders's car. The next night Kelly, Donna and Brenda tries to sneak in to a 21 years or older dance club but Brenda's the only one that gets in. Brenda meets a 25 year old attorney, Jason Croft. Brandon and Marianne have a good time at a swimming pool. The next day Brandon get flowers from Marianne in class. The whole school thinks that Brandon Walsh and Marianne Moore had sex (which they didn't). Brenda is thinking of having sex with Jason Croft (until he finds out she's 16 years old). Trivia

The show often dealt with issues faced by Jewish Americans because that was a subject Aaron Spelling wanted to explore that for various reasons he hadn't been able to cover on his other hit shows. Two of the main characters were Jewish, Andrea Zuckerman and David Silver. Andrea was entirely Jewish and played by a Jewish actress, while David was half-Jewish (dad was, mom was not) and played by a non-Jewish actor. Another regular cast member was Jewish but played a Christian character. See more »

Goofs

When Steve's Corvette rolled backwards out of the driveway, later in the episode David said it was because he wasn't used to driving a stick. But just prior to the accident, you could clearly see it was in Neutral and was an Automatic. See more »

Quotes

[an overweight girl looks for a partner. Students try to avoid her. She approaches Kelly]
Kelly Taylor: Sorry, it's taken!
Overweight Girl: By who?
Kelly Taylor: By that girl.
[Kelly points at Brenda who is entering the class]
Kelly Taylor: Over here, I saved you a seat.
Brenda Walsh: Look, I think that you have me confused with somebody else.
Kelly Taylor: That's okay. I'm being friendly.
Brenda Walsh: Thanks. My name's Brenda.

Memories
2 May 2005 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I watched Beverly Hills 90210 since I was in elementary school it has always been my favorite show. It deals with ups and downs you go through in life. My favorite moments were the first four years when Brenda and Dylan were the couple! When Dylan had to choose between Brenda or Kelly! Brenda, Brandon, Dylan, Kelly, Steve, David, Donna, Aundria, are the best! I miss the old cast the further I get into the seasons, the old cast is what made the show so great I believe even without them the show is good but the old cast had the better times and the most memories.I own all 10 seasons and I am still working my way through to the end.
