Trivia:
Class of Beverly Hills was originally considered as the title of the series before it was changed to Beverly Hills, 90210. moreGoofs:
Continuity: As most pilots are shot far in advance of the actual episodes of a show (should it get picked up) there are many differences to note from the pilot to the first episode, and later episodes of Beverly Hills, 90210. -the Walsh home is not the Spanish style house used in all future episodes. -Brandon's car is not the same car he drives from episode 1-2 on, and later crashes, when driving drunk. -Kelly's mom is portrayed by a different actress than in future episodes, and she refers to a man named Bob, who is not mentioned in the future. -of course, Brandon's hair is longer, and his later famous sideburns are missing in the pilot. moreQuotes:
David Silver: Hey Scott.Scott Scanlon: I can't find my locker. Number 1533. This place is huge, like five times as big as junior high!
David Silver: I know, the steps are even bigger. And the babes are outrageous.

The show started out promising but quickly deteriorated after Shannen Doherty left the show. After she left, it became soap-operish and melodramatic. I really liked watching it in the beginning because the characters seemed real but after Doherty left, everything fell apart. The characters became rampid wild sex machines who only cared about themselves.
