 Additional Voices (1993) / ... (unknown episodes)

When genius robot technician Ziv "ZZ" Zulander discovers that his employers (RM Corps) have designs on world domination, he quits and tries to warn people about them. Branded an outlaw by their powerful boss Lewis Leon Paradim (LLP), ZZ and his bot-designer sister (Blitzy) are forced into hiding. His one advantage is the chip he developed, which gives his bots their own personalities, and enables them to think for themselves and fight intelligently. This makes them a powerful force against a huge but predictable army of security bots. RM Corps's attempts to upgrade their bots' firepower with their Krang chip are a constant danger. Their bot- designer (the oily Dr Hiss) desperately wants to capture a ZZ bot for examination, and ZZ must also avoid being distracted by LLP's gorgeous security chief, Lady Frenzy. Did You Know?

The voice of the Security bots was generated by a now-obsolete computer program called "Dr. Sbaitso", which was a demonstration/test for the Sound Blaster sound card. Dr. Sbaitso took the form of a psychiatrist that would take the user's input and return a bit of dubious advice (that was often nonsensical) through the computer's speakers, and could also be told to repeat the user's input. Lewis Leon Paradim: There's nothing so beautiful as the setting sun. Think what it means. The end of one day, the promise of a new one to come. The end of Ziv Ziulander. The beginning... of the day of the Corp!

Great Show
16 June 2006 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I am truly a Bots Master fan - when it was on the air (I actually had the television set programmed to come on at that time and the VCR set for recording) I faithfully recorded it daily, therefore now having every single episode I can sit back and relax and enjoy it any time I desire. I especially loved the title song (pretty catchy), I even took time out to record that on my Walkman so I can hear my title tune whenever and wherever I want. I am seriously hoping for a revival of the series.

It took me a some time but I finally got my 3D glasses in order to enjoy this series, the glasses do make a difference - should they bring this series back (which I certainly hope they do) I would once again be its number one fan.
