Trivia

The man playing King Otto's role was not an actor, but an officer of the Presidential (formerly Royal) Guard, wearing the real, official uniform of the king. Ms Andreadou, an amateur actress, who played Queen Amalia, wore the queen's reception dress, a museum offer. Some interior scenes were filmed in Otto's first palace, at Klafthmonos Square, while others in the main entrance of the Old Palace. See more »
