Storyline

When Angelo, a friendly but mysterious stranger, arrives unexpectedly in a house in London, life for its occupants is never quite the same again. Although Angelo means well, his over-eager enthusiasm, coupled with his weird inventions, often leads to strange and chaotic events disrupting the smooth running of the house - with nobody ever quite knowing what havoc will hit them next! Kids Sci-Fi comedy series that seems destined to be sadly forgotten...
10 May 2002 | by (Oldham, Gtr Manchester, England.) – See all my reviews

I feel duty bound to write a comment for this, if only because, up until this point, nobody else has. I remember it being one of my favourite shows as a kid, with the dynamic between the two male actors being surprisingly engaging; a sort of Pre-Teen "Two Ronnies", if you will. I couldn't bear the thought that such a neat little show might otherwise pass unrecognised. Plenty of extraordinary things happen, since the 'Angelo' of the title is an alien, and there was some great slapstick!

It's a shame that nobody else seems to remember this quite as fondly as I do (at least fondly enough to deem it worthy of a few words!) Remember this: Classic T.V never dies!

Oooh, I'm off on a nostalgia 'kick' now, it's maybe time to resurrect some other underappreciated favourities of mine, like the pioneering virtual reality gameshow classic: "Knightmare"...
