Ask yourself this: If you had a camcorder, a few friends and some free time, would you make a film? If yes, then you would probably make a small character driven drama, yes? Well one man dared to differ. With his camcorder and small budget, he piledrived a nuclear war epic into our lives.
Where to start? This movie has changed my life in so many ways. First of all, the acting is top-notch. Especially the heart-rendering performance from Greg Snyder as 'Radiated Man 1'
Admittedly, the special effects are a tad dated, but i think we can let that slide when Scott Pfeiffer gets so much from what little he has. Of course, every film has it's faults. Fire Fight is no exception. There are a few times when the camera angles are so bad that you can't actually see any of the actors or action. But we can let that slide! Because it's so great!
Scott Pfeiffer later went on to direct the classic "Hell Comes to Frogtown 2" and "Scarecrow Gone Wild" both mind altering movies that really opened my doors of perception.
I really couldn't imagine world without the following movies: Battlefield Earth, Timecop, Star Wars Episode 2, Showgirls,Mr Nanny and Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot! But if i could only choose one movie to exist, it would be: FIRE FIGHT
"FOR SOME IT'S ALL OVER. BUT FOR ONE MAN IT'S JUST THE BEGINNING"
FIRE FIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
