Sex & Nudity

NOTE: The children in the show are mostly aged 8-10. (This can make some of the sexual content more offensive because the people involved are often underage.)

Most episodes contain sexual references and dialogue, including discussions and episodes based around sex. Sometimes these are actually shown. However this is done in a funny way and should not offend or harm anyone. So basically all the sexual jokes or acts are all played for over-the-top laughs.

The only instance of actual nudity I have seen so far on this show was in the episode 'cancelled'. During the advertisement for the earth reality show, there is a shot of a young boy naked. This is actual video and not animated. However it is intended to show the diversity of life on earth and is not offensive.

Cartman, one of the main characters, has a mother who is revealed to be a prostitute. Throughout the series there are many sexual references and innuendos regarding this, as well as some instances of scenes showing or implying sex. Some episodes have nudity; breasts are rarely shown, buttocks are shown sometimes, and in a few episodes penis' or erections are shown but they are small, poorly drawn and mostly inoffensive. Ms. Choksondick has enormous breasts and she does not wear a bra. Her nipples are shown very briefly as part of a running gag. However, she dies in the episode 'the simpsons already did it' and is never seen in the show again. Note that her name is pronounced chokes-on-dick, this is for comedic effect.

Rarely there will be sex scenes, examples: the episode 'black friday' has sex scenes. So does 'eat prey queef' and 'insecurity'. Examples of other sexual content in the episodes...

-In the episode "Fat Butt and Pancake Head" 9 yr old cartman's hand (dressed as jennifer lopez) gives ben afflack 'oral' sex twice.

-In the episode 'creme fraiche' Stan's father randy is seen touching himself under a blanket while watching tv, even when the children are in the room. There are also many comparisons to the shakeweight and sexual acts.

-The episode 'over logging' is about men masturbating to internet pornography to the point that its ruins the country.

-In the episode 'cancelled ' aliens are seen giving each other oral sex while the children watch.

-In the 'crippled summer' episode a handicap boy is raped by a shark. The same boy is later raped by a transgendered man in the 'handicar' episode.

-In the 'its a jersey thing' episode snooki tries to rape cartman and several other men.

-In 'stupid spoiled whore video playset' the little kid butters touches paris hilton's genitals while she is unconscious.

-The episode 'majorboobage' is full drawings of breasts and other sexual humor.

-The episode 'medicinal fried chicken' features men using their giant testicles to "jump" around town. It is more comical than explicit however.

-In the episodes 'Ms teacher bangs a boy' and 'taming strange' Kyle's little brother has sex with older women.

-In the 'woodland critter christmas' the woodland critters have a bloody orgy

-in the episode "A Song of Ass and Fire" (derived from the book series "A Song of Ice and Fire"), the scenes that take place in George R. R. Martin's house, there are an abundance of both little and big statues of penises, and Martin conducts a choir and they are singing "wiener, wiener, wiener" in the rhythm of the "Game of Thrones" theme. In the episode "Titties and Dragons", once again, the scenes that include George R. R. Martin include references of penises and a graphic shot of a horse's penis. Then, before cutting the red rope for Black Friday, he tells stories of his penis, then an anxious shopper gets mad and cuts Martin's penis off. The "Black Friday" 3-episode arc implies that the hit HBO show "Game of Thrones" showed penis in every scene.

Violence & Gore

Violence can be quite gory and graphic, however the show's art style isn't super detailed, so it isn't as graphic as it can be. When violence is present it is always comical, and usually over the top.

Kenny dies in most of the episodes in the first five seasons and most of the time in pretty graphic ways.

Suicide is occasionally seen.

Cartman is a sadistic sociopath and sometimes commits very violent acts to get his way such as killing people, torturing people and manipulating a teenage boy into eating his parents. Again, like everything else in the show, all of it is played in a comical over-the-top way.

In the episode "Titties and Dragons", Bill Gates and the CEO of Sony physically fight each other and Gates grabs the Sony CEO and bashes his head into a wall. The CEO's brain and guts are shown and are quite graphic.

The show mocks religion in some episodes, most of the time in an over the top comical way.

Language is frequent in every episode. Most episodes contain at least one use of fuck, shit, bitch, bastard, whore, asshole and dick. However, the strong profanities such as "fuck," or "cunt" are censored. (Though the language on the DVD sets, is completely uncensored in most countries).

In one episode, Jimmy tries to say the word "continuing" but due to his stutter it sounds as if he calls a girl a cunt six times. This episode was greeted with controversy around the world, and remains a main talking point in censorship debates.

In one episode, the word "shit" is said 162 times in 23 minutes. This is meant as a satire to the over-censorship of television

In many cases, the show uses profanity to mock the opinions that certain people have of it, in a hilarious way.

"Nigger" is said a few times in the episode 'krazy kripples' but not in the derogatory sense. In another episode it is said once, in that episode it is shown as very inappropriate and comes across as a negative thing, so this would discourage kids to say it rather than encourage them.

If the show is watched on TV, the harsher language is censored so it would be more at a 8/10 level.

Alcohol is consumed often, occasionally by kids.

Drugs are used fairly often, including marijuana, cocaine, LSD, MDMA, and inhalants. Kids sometimes use drugs. In one episode, one of the school counselors gets fired for passing drugs around the class, and then turns to drugs, sex, and alcohol himself. Another episode shows men getting testicular cancer just to buy marijuana.

There goths kids are often shown smoking, one of them is very young.

Drugs are never glorified, and any child that knows better will know that smoking/drugs are wrong when watching this show.

Some scenes can be disturbing due to their content.

The violence can be disturbing at times.

In "Helen Keller: The Musical", Cartman gets blindfolded and we hear very disturbing noises and see equally disturbing images.

Even if this show has disturbing content, the comedic tone makes it less frightening.

Maybe not so much in a frightening sense, but a lot of people would get offended from the series.
