A summary on the search for the meaning of life

Author: sqrmax from San Diego, USA

In this series, James Burke explores what is reality for us. He shows that many of the things we believe to be true are not, or that they don't even exist. He demonstrates how it can be scientifically proven that you distort your perception of the world around you in a way that you cannot even recognize within yourself.

In this scenario, what remains real is your sense of being yourself. And how is that constructed is what the series ends with. It is also shown that we know so little about it...

The series has a style that is very similar to that of the first Connection series. Very enjoyable, and a strong recommendation.

It is unfortunate, but I have not been able to locate a copy of this series, other than some recordings from TV. The dubbers in Venezuela, Estudios Lain, were unable to provide a reference to me. I really do not know why this piece is nearly impossible to find anywhere.
