A forgotten classic

Only 13 shows were ever made of this series, apparently, and it seems totally forgotten now. Which is a bit of a shame, as I'd love to see it again - I only caught a few episodes when they originally aired.

Leigh Jackson steals the show here, playing the somewhat washed-up actor Grant Logan, who acts as the front man for 12-year-old private detective "Rip" (Kristopher Milnes). The teamwork between the two is excellent and Jackson is frequently hilarious as his character gets himself into all kinds of sticky situations.

Disney, sort your act out and at least release a DVD of this - although I haven't seen the show in over 10 years my guess is that it still holds up very well.
