Did You Know?

Trivia:
For the lengthy phone conversations between the two leads, Kevin Spacey made a point of being on set to help Samuel L. Jackson with his performance. A lot of actors don't feel the need to be present when it's just their voice on the other end of a phone.See more »
Goofs:
Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): While Danny is showing Farley how to talk to a hostage taker, he says that it's in the manual to never use the word "no". But when they're talking about the film Shane, Chris clearly says "no" to Danny about the ending of the film. But Danny knew that Farley wasn't as experienced a negotiator as Sabian, so he may have deliberately been trying to throw him off.See more »

Very well done, 27 February 1999
Author: Adam Morrison (dvd53@hotmail.com) from Bathurst, New Brunswick

Terrific action drama about dedicated cop Jackson, who is framed for the murder of his partner and stealing money funds. Spacey does a great job as the stranger. Film relies more on drama than action which is good in this case. Marred only by overlength.
