Sex & Nudity

A man and a woman are shown having sex, although under the sheets. Lot of moaning sounds.

Full frontal nudity of several prisoners in the shower room.

A group of prisoners pin a fellow prisoner in the shower with his face against the wall and are shown trying to spread his legs. Another prisoner's face is shown in closeup as he approaches the pinned prisoner from behind and makes thrusting movements and sounds. The scene is clearly shown as a rape, although no genitals are revealed. They then kick and punch him, and leave him bleeding in the shower. In the following scene, the raped prisoner is shown walking slowly with his legs spread due to the pain and sitting down slowly.

In the prison, a prisoner makes a very sexual joke.

Violence & Gore

The violence in this film is very strong and graphic not for anyone the weak of heart.

Two car thieves are killed. Derek shoots both of them. He also shoots a car being driven away. One of the thieves does not die from the gunshot, so Derek places the thief's mouth over the curb and stomps his head (the stomp is shown from some distance). Although not shown explicitly and involving no blood or gore, the implication of what is happening and the graphic sound effects make this scene incredibly disturbing and difficult to watch. (Parts of this incident are shown at two separate points in the film.)

In prison, a man is pinned to a wall by five other prisoners as a sixth taunts and rapes him. His head is then slammed into the wall and he drops to the floor.

Derek angrily shoves food into his own sister's mouth.

A group of teenagers throw another teenager to the ground and punch and kick him repeatedly.

A man points a gun at another man's face.

A gang of white supremacists raid a grocery store that employs minorities, severely beating and tormenting various individuals there while destroying the merchandise. Very intense and hard to watch.

Some fighting and beating in some scenes.

This movie is realistically violent and all the violent scenes are extremely intense.

Derek beats up a man. Little blood is shown

ENDING: A boy is shot multiple times in the chest, with blood splattering all over the wall behind him. We see parts of this in slow-motion, and then the aftermath later. (This is the bloodiest scene in the film)

205 uses of "fuck" and its derivatives including "motherfucker", and lots of other profanity such as, "shit", "pussy", "ass", and "piss".The word ''Cunt'' is mumbled and hard to hear.

This movie also has a lot of racially charged profanity, such as the words 'Nigger", "Spic", "Kike", and "Cracker".

A man smokes marijuana but is told to stop by a white supremacist based on "racial beliefs".

Positive characters (including teenagers) smoke cigarettes continuously throughout the film.

There is a big party with lots of beer and lots of drunkenness among lots of people.

In prison, "Aryan Brotherhood" deals with marijuana traffic from Latin gang members.

The most violent scenes are the food-store raid, the curb-stomping, the dinner fight, the prison rape and the ending.

There are a couple of lengthy tirades (against blacks, immigrants, and Jews) that, while debatable, are clearly racist within the context. There are many hate driven speeches throughout the film that are very controversial and very scary at times. The ending is emotional and shocking.
