For surely this Lori Loughlin, playing a respectable lawyer, is miscast of the year. Appearing in court with a too tight suit cut too low and a hem up to her kazoo, with a mop of hair constantly hanging over one eye, does she represent our women of the courts? She's terrible. In fact she wears this same suit throughout the entire movie. A trivia note: In one scene in a parking garage she has her hair hanging over the right eye and in another shot of the same scene the hair is hanging over the left eye. She wakes up after a restless night of sleep with that same hair do hanging over her eye. Who wakes up looking picture perfect? Add to this she's a lousy actress with blank expressions on her face. Oh, yes, when the door bell rings, she gets an automatic pistol to answer it, running out into the streets carrying a weapon, almost shooting a little boy on the way. Too much. Bruce Greenwood, an actor I admire, is forced to play opposite our little dame. He can only do what's required of him. Always doing an admirable job, he should get a medal for this one. Playing opposite a bimbo and making it convincing. Joe Flanigan is another actor worth watching who really has no point in the story but to go around chasing our bimbo, even when she tricks him, so obviously, to get his fingerprints off a glass of wine they are sharing over dinner. Why? I tell you, she's a loony. Then there's Max Gail as the father and the presence of Kathryn Harrold that give this loser some class. One of the worst movies with one awful leading lady and supporting actors wasted.
