I've seen the series and didn't see the movie until now. Was quickly surprised by how much they try to push down in 90 min. Like they're trying to extend the life of episodes Which was never done. The film creates a feeling of what the series was like with the classic Swedish middle income and its implication of always being the same as the neighbor. All of a sudden, Alan, who is the father of the family, has to become something which he is terrified of. Break his routine from the safe middle class of Vivalla to the suburbs of the capital. The children adapt very quickly, just like children do. Alan adapts also surprisingly fast. But the film feels like a squeezed dishcloth. Made just for money or simply because they wanted to close the series.

Embarrassingly bad

I'm embarrassed to confess that I saw this movie, well most of it in any case. The script is so terrible that the screenwriters should be banned from ever writing for TV or movies ever again. And we all know why Svensk Filmindustri ever produced the movie in the first place - to earn money on the reputation of the TV show. And it's obvious why the TV show got cancelled after only two seasons: bad writing.

Quite Good, but It`s too long

The "Svensson Svensson" TV series are very funny. But this theme doesen`t fit for a quality movie. Either they should have made a shorter movie or a more impulsive one.
