Gary Barlow for 'X Factor' return, ends feud with Simon Cowell?

28 February 2013 12:36 AM, PST | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

Gary Barlow and Simon Cowell have reportedly ended their rumoured feud.

The X Factor judge is said to have not spoken to the executive producer of the show since last February. However, the pair have held recent meetings to bury the hatchet, according to The Mirror.

The Take That singer is now tipped to return for a third series, despite rumours that he wanted to concentrate on his music in 2013.

"Simon and Gary are in a good place now – and Gary looks a good bet to be back on the show this year," an insider said.

Cowell has been quoted as saying that he blamed Barlow for the dip in The X Factor's ratings.

In Tom Bower's biography Sweet Revenge, Cowell stated that he found Barlow "wooden" on the show.

Back in December, Barlow appeared to hint that he wouldn't be returning to the show in 2013.

‘Vampire Diaries’ Scoop: Rebekah Gets ‘Somber’ News — Is Someone Dying?

31 January 2013 7:26 AM, PST | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

New spoilers from the Feb. 21 episode reveal another tragedy is about to befall the ‘Tvd’ gang.

There’s never any shortage of bad news in Mystic Falls — usually it’s along the lines of “Your relative was killed by something sexy and supernatural” — but Rebekah (Claire Holt) is rarely on the receiving end of it. That’ll change on the Feb. 21 episode of The Vampire Diaries when Damon (Ian Somerhalder) “relays somber news to Rebekah … and is surprised at her reaction.”

I know this episode is still weeks away, and plenty will happen between now and then, but let’s try to put our heads together and figure out what “somber news” Damon could have for her. Is it that her beloved bro Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) is dead — again? Or could it be that they’ve already given Elena (Nina Dobrev) the cure, crushing Bex’s own dreams of becoming human? »

‘Vampire Diaries’ Video: Klaus Breaks Up Stefan & Rebekah’s ‘Sordid Tryst’

25 January 2013 3:10 PM, PST | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

After a night of passion, Stefan & Rebekah are treated to a super-awkward morning after — courtesy of Klaus. Watch!

When we last saw Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Rebekah (Claire Holt), they were getting down and dirty at Rebekah’s place — but the next time we see them, things will be considerably less sexy. Enter Klaus (Joseph Morgan), who surprises the lovers on the Jan. 31 episode of The Vampire Diaries with an intense demand.

Here’s, word-for-word, what goes down between the Mikaelsons:

Klaus: Sorry to break up your sordid little tryst, but have you forgotten our paranoid brother, Kol, is running around with the white-oak stake and homicide on the brain?

Rebekah: He tried to kill me last night; I didn’t forget.

Klaus: Well, unfortunately, he appears to have absconded with my set of daggers.

Rebekah: Poor Nic. How ever will you get your way without precious daggers? It was »

‘Vampire Diaries’: Why I’m Glad Stefan Is Moving On From Elena

25 January 2013 2:05 PM, PST | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

Stefan’s getting over Elena by getting under someone else, and I think everyone is better off for it.

When Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) first broke up on the Nov. 15 episode of The Vampire Diaries,  we all figured they’d get back together eventually. But after Stefan’s actions on last night’s episode, it’s clear he’s finally moving on — or at least attempting to move on — and I couldn’t be happier for him.

I’m referring, of course, to Stefan getting down and dirty with Rebekah (Claire Holt) in the final moments of the Jan. 24 episode after promising, “no feelings, no attachments.” Basically, it was incredibly romantic.

So why am I coming out in support of “Stebekah?” Is it just because I’m a dirty “Delena” shipper who’s glad to have an obstacle removed from their path to happiness? Believe it or not, »
