The action adventure - starring George Clooney and Chris O'Donnell as the undynamic duo - topped the poll, hotly followed by the Julia Roberts tearjerker Steel Magnolias, Robin Williams' horrific Patch Adams and the big-budget blockbuster Armageddon.
