Storyline

The incredible story of the events leading up to the bombing of the World Trade Center in New York and the capture of the terrorists. The amazing thing is that the FBI had an informant among the terrorists, but refused to pay him $500/wk for more information. They eventually had to pay $1 million and place him in the witness protection program. A story of incompetence on all sides. Written by Bob Farnsworth

Trivia

The film is best remembered for an infamous premonitory line at its conclusion said by Ramzi Ahmed Yousef, played by Art Malik when he sees the World Trade Center for a last time and says "Next time, we will bring them both down". In 2001, the towers were one of the targets of the September 11 attacks and Yousef's uncle, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, is said to be one of the masterminds behind the attacks. See more »

It came true again...
28 September 2001 | by See all my reviews

I have seen this on HBO several times, and no one would expect that the plot wasn't over. The 1993 attempt might have failed, and no one would expect the REAL disaster several years later.

REMEMBER SEPTEMBER 11, 2001!!! WE MUST REBUILD AND RECOVER.
