Supernatural: Who (or What) Could Dean Meet in Purgatory?
Purgatory is my new Supernatural obsession. After posting an article yesterday about why Dean's situation in Purgatory will be vastly different from his trip to Hell, discussion inevitably came up as to who Dean could meet in Purgatory.
Since the season 7 finale, I've seen various suggestions on which characters could be re-introduced by putting them in Purgatory. Here's a few of the suggestions: deceased angels, past monsters or species of creatures that have been killed, and souls who refused to go with their Reapers, such as Bobby, John and Mary.
For me, only one of these options is viable, given what we know about Purgatory in the Supernatural context. Let me tell you why, and explain why Supernatural's version of Purgatory is different from ours.

I'll get this out of the way up front: I'm not much of a fan of romances of any sexual orientation. But I am a fan of cultural curiosities, so sitting through two new polar-opposite romances in a single week provided its own brand of overwrought appeal. While the diverting (though a bit overearnest) Zac Efron vehicle/longform Hgh infomercial The Lucky One is poised to invade the hearts of millions this weekend, another romance of a very different breed opens in limited release in New York City (with a run in La to follow in May).
Going Down in La-la Land tells the story of Adam (Matthew Ludwinski), an aspiring actor who relocates from NYC to Los Angeles to live with his longtime friend and fellow fame-seeker, Candy (Allison Lane). Once on the sun-soaked streets of Hollywood, Adam finds that getting auditions for film and television is tough - »

The Doom Generation, it’s a film for the nineties and arguably of the nineties. A no holds barred teen road trip of sex and violence, well mostly sex with a little violence in there to shock you and make you wonder what the hell is going on. That’s the thing about The Doom Generation, you’ll watch it and wonder where the story is, it’s there but it’s a mess.
Basically The Doom Generation is about two teenagers who have problems in the sex department. We have Amy Blue, she wants it and she’s had it quite a lot. Her young boyfriend Jordan White wants to give it to her but quite a few times he messes that part up. Things are made »

Things are about to get even dumberer with Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels.
Director Peter Farrelly confirmed to ComingSoon.net he and brother Bobby will be shooting a sequel to their 1994 comedy "Dumb & Dumber," with Carrey and Daniels reprising their roles.
At the junket for their latest comedy, "The Three Stooges," Peter Farrelly said, "We're getting set to shoot 'Dumb & Dumber 2' in September. It's the first sequel we've ever done and we've got Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels back. »

Ava DuVernay won the Best Director award at the Sundance Film Festival for her drama 'Middle Of Nowhere — making her the first black woman to take home the honor.
In her acceptance speech, Duvernay said that it was important that Nowhere be seen beyond the film festival and for “filmmakers of color to see one another’s films and have them seen.” 'Nowhere' was picked up by Participant Media for distribution last week.
Her win came as a shock, as Benh Zeitlin's Beasts Of The Southern Wild, a story inspired by the people who refused to leave New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, was considered the favorite. (Beasts took home the Dramatic Grand Jury Prize.)
"Middle of Nowhere is a story about a woman named Ruby who has lost her husband to incarceration," DuVernay told Jason Scoggins of the Sundance Project 2012. "It touches on the prison wives' tale, »
