Extended Twitter TV Spot for The Grey Starring Liam Neeson

23 December 2011 9:14 AM, PST | Reelzchannel.com | See recent ReelzChannel news »

The first trailer for the upcoming The Grey made it almost seem like Liam Neeson was going to be alone as he fights off the elements and a pack of wolves after being stranded in the Alaskan wild after a plane crash. The second trailer offered more of Neeson's fellow survivors, including Frank Grillo (Warrior), Dermot Mulroney (My Best Friend's Wedding), Dallas Roberts (3:10 To Yuma), Joe Anderson (The Crazies), James Badge Dale (the upcoming World War Z, HBO’s The Pacific), and Nonso Anozie (Conan The Barbarian).

The Grey debuted at Ain't It Cool News' Butt-Numb-a-Thon earlier this month, and, after the strong response, The Grey director Joe Carnahan (The A-Team) sent them an extended, Twitter TV spot, which includes footage mostly pulled from the second trailer along with reviews and responses sent over Twitter about the movie.

Next Showing: The Grey opens Jan. 27

The 9 Greatest Karaoke Scenes in Movies

6 October 2011 9:00 AM, PDT | NextMovie | See recent NextMovie news »

The best thing about our list of the nine greatest karaoke scenes in movies? That the scenes we've chosen are not only fun to watch, but they can also provide helpful hints to real-world karaoke singers (even those who happen to be movie stars).

From the sincere crooning in "Duets" and Chris Tucker's committed Michael Jackson cover in "Rush Hour 2" to Hilary Swank's sexy Prince jam in "P.S. I Love You" and the deliciously over-the-top performance of our number one pick, these are some movie karaoke moments that might just inspire you to rock the mic yourself.

9. Andre Braugher and Paul Giamatti in 'Duets' (2000)

The whole movie's about karaoke, so of course, we had to include one of its many karaoke performances to get this list started. Do we still giggle a bit at the mere idea of a plot that revolves around Huey Lewis as a road-tripping karaoke hustler? »

The Grey Trailer Starring Liam Neeson

22 September 2011 7:43 AM, PDT | FilmJunk | See recent FilmJunk news »

The wild success of Taken continues to dictate the direction of Liam Neeson's career as he steps into another action role with The Grey. This time around he is reteaming with The A-Team director Joe Carnahan for an original story that finds him crash landing in the Alaskan wilderness with a team of oil drillers and struggling to survive. However, it's not just the elements that they have to worry about... they are also being hunted by a pack of hungry wolves. Yikes. While normally I'm a fan of man vs. nature stories, the one thing that has me a little bit worried in this trailer is the CG wolves. If they're going to be such an important part of the film, I think you really need to make them as convincing as possible, otherwise the movie will just fall apart. The cast also includes Dallas Roberts (Rubicon), James Badge Dale »

Christina Hendricks, Dermot Mulroney and Sarah Hyland Get 'Struck By Lightning'

14 July 2011 2:56 PM, PDT | NextMovie | See recent NextMovie news »

Back in December we reported on falsetto-voiced "Glee" star Chris Colfer's first big foray into both writing and being a leading man entitled "Struck By Lightning." Details were scarce about the John Hughes-influenced High School movie, but now as filming begins the project is coming more into focus.

According to Variety, Christina Hendricks, Dermot Mulroney, and Sarah Hyland have joined Colfer and co-star Allison Janney of "West Wing" and "Juno" fame in the indie picture. The film concerns "Colfer's character being struck and killed by a bolt of lightning and is told in flashback. It chronicles his exploits as he blackmails his fellow senior classmates into contributing to a literary magazine he's publishing."

Sounds like some juicy material, with plenty of quirk for these three character actors to sink their teeth into. Hendricks is, of course, the head-turning red head bombshell who puts the va-va-va-voom into AMC's "Mad Men, »

Universal Wants To Go On An FBI Wedding With Steve Carell

28 June 2011 2:43 PM, PDT | The Playlist | See recent The Playlist news »

There is probably no comic leading man in Hollywood right now hotter than Steve Carell. It seems each week there is another project announced with the actor/comedian attached and this week is no different. Variety reports that Universal has picked up an untitled "FBI wedding" comedy in turnaround from Warner Bros. as a potential vehicle for the funnyman. Details are under wraps for now, but the film is said to fall somewhere between that 1987 Richard Dreyfuss and Emilio Estevez movie "Stakeout" and "My Best Friend's Wedding," which is two of the oddest comparison points for a project in recent… »

Cameron Diaz's 9 Best Moments

23 June 2011 10:00 AM, PDT | NextMovie | See recent NextMovie news »

Few models-turned-actresses are worth their weight in gold... and not simply because you wouldn't receive that much gold in the first place. They may be pretty to look at, but oftentimes they don't hold a candle to a professional actress.

Cameron Diaz is a rare exception, transcending her conventional good looks to star in movies that span the spectrum of genres. Goofy comedies, hard dramas, animated fairy tales and the bizarre arthouse fare -- there are few projects Diaz can't pull off.

Her latest is the raunchy comedy "Bad Teacher," which once again shows off the actress' innate talents for making us laugh. In honor of her diverse career, here are nine moments that continue to stand out.

9. 'The Mask' (1994)

Diaz was only 21 when she nabbed the role of Tina in the "The Mask" -- easily one of Jim Carrey's most manic performances to date (he was playing a live-action cartoon, »
