During the Lady Chablis nightclub performance, the audience can be heard applauding when she is finished with the bit in which she teases the doctor and his wife. However, no one is applauding when the camera pans the audience.
In court, when the Detective takes the stand, the area in front of jury is empty/open. When Sonny Seiler starts to question the Detective about the crime scene, a large wooden table suddenly appears in front of the jury box. In fact, when talking about the cat in the crime scene photo, Sonny sits on this table facing the jury. In the very next scene, the table is gone again.
The end of the first day of the trial, the judge tells the jury to go home and not to talk to anybody and come in the next morning and go to the jury room. As Sonny and John leave the courthouse, Sonny explains that he is going away for the weekend, John is shocked that he is going with the trial starting in three days.
The hairstyle for the hostess of The Married Women's Card Club gets a recomb between shots. After asking the ladies if "everything is all right?", a lock is out of place. In the next shot, the stray lock is tucked and perfectly coifed.
When Jim reaches for his glass on the piano, the first shot shot shows him reaching in between a man and a woman. The next shot shows him from a different angle and he is now retrieving his glass from behind the woman instead of between.
As Minerva looks up from her Forsyth Park bench to see the plane coming in for a landing, it is headed straight toward downtown Savannah and the harbor. The airport there is actually located north of the city.

Near the end, John is shown hanging the painting Jim offered to him in their final scene together, with Jim saying he'd have it shipped. However, Jim then died immediately after John departs, so no one would have known Jim had promised the painting to John.
