Rodney Dangerfield should have stuck to stand-up comedy. He seemed more likable in that role. Have you noticed how many sleazy characters he played in movies? Too many, especially this one where he's a profane Howard Stern-type, disgusting talk show host.
This also takes Hollywood's Liberalism to a new low as Dangerfield is the "good guy" and the Conservative is - surprise! - the villain. Even the kids in this film are that way - with the Conservative kid the snot and Dangerfield's boy the nice one. Puh-leez!!!
Of course, liberals think that people like Jerry Springer, Roseanne Barr, Geraldo Rivera , Sally Jesse Raphael, etc., are good people. Oh yes, they all have cameos in this film.
