When Megan Potter hits her head in the kitchen she awakens with severe amnesia, thinking she is sixteen years old, and forgetting she has a husband and teenage daughter. With the help of a friendly psychiatrist, she must decide whether to stay with a family who are strangers to her or to pursue her love of painting in Europe. Having Sidney J. Furie as the director of the this film is probably the biggest surprise of this film. Furie, more famous in directing action blockbuster movies, managed the direction swellingly.
Although the story becomes tiring in the last quarter of the film, Jaclyn Smith manages to sustain the dramatic resonance of the film. Smith is a capable performer and when handle by good directors and good scripts, exudes excellence. This is probably her best performance of late.
The only thing is she really looks too beautiful for everyone. I think, she's not being appreciated with her acting talent that much because the camera loves her face so much, that you can't help adoring her "angelic sexy" look while watching the movie.
