Storyline

Customs Officer Bharat Srivastav lives a middle-class life with his sister Rajni; wife Sangita and a small son. Rajni is soon to get married to Inspector Gautam. He is known for his unorthodox methods of apprehending smugglers, and it is these methods that land him in trouble with the Shikari brothers (Tejaa, Dharma, Tinnu, Chinnu and Pappu). Bharat decides to oppose them, and as a result the Shikari brothers recruit false eye-witnesses, pay them to give false testimonies and get the complaint dismissed. When Bharat persists, his family is abducted and subsequently killed. Bharat manages to kill some of the culprits, however, is arrested, found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment. On the way to prison, the vehicle meets with an accident, killing everyone on board. Relieved at the death of their nemesis, the Shikari brothers celebrate - only to find out that they now have a new unknown enemy - an enemy who will kill them one by one - for an unknown reason. Back to those days
20 March 2009 | by (India) – See all my reviews

1997 was an awful year for Akshay He gave 7 flops in a row and mostly played the same roles He played a cop in 3 films INSAAF, DAAVA and TARAZU in 1 year and a good for nothing in AFLATOON and MR & MRS KHILADI

This is one of his bad films The film follows the same formula we have seen many times Love story cut to action cut to emotions cut to dance

The film is just so boring that you may fall to sleep

Mehul Kumar is a bad director who always relied on actors like Nana to save his films like KRANTIVEER Here too he handles the film badly Music is boring

Akshay Kumar repeats his Jackson act and the loud comedy he was known for in 1997 days, today he is one of the polished actors but that time he was awful Naseeruddin Shah acts well but such a role he can do in his sleep Karisma Kapoor is awful Mukesh Rishi is as usual rest are okay
