Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

The film rather implies most of its content (unlike the book) than actually showing it. However, there are some scenes that are quite risque, including a scene in which two young children (maybe 12-14) climb into bed together fully naked, but they don't actually have sex. A scene of an adulterous liason, wife swapping at a swinger's key party.

Heavy sexual dialogue.

Two teenagers discuss having sex, the girl then lays on her back on a sofa and the boy climbs on top of her and begins to undo his pants, they are interupted by her father.

Someone dies from electrocution, and their lifeless body slides along the ice, face down. Its not overly graphic but its disturbing

About five f-words. Heavy sexual dialogue and crude terms. Jesus's name in vain was spoken out

3 teens get together to smoke cannabis, drink beer, and abuse perscription medication Two of them pass out. A teenage boy and girl share a bottle of vodka in bed. An adult passes out from drinking too much. Many characters smoke. Two teens smoke from a bong at school. A couple adults drinking at the Key Party

A character is electrocuted by downed wires and dies.

Rated R for sexuality and drug use, including scenes involving children, and for language
