Producer 'Carl-Jan Colpaert' removed his name from "Glam" when Emerson Bixby suggested they edit forty minutes from anywhere in the film and replace all dialogue with rock music, so they could at least market it as background fodder to German rock bands.

German post-techno band Mouse on Mars was originally assigned to soundtrack the film, but producer Josh Evans dismissed their contribution claiming it was too "uncommercial". The rejected material resurfaced later as a standalone album, to positive reviews.
