Storyline

Dilbert is a cubicle dwelling employee for a large soulless corporation. Along with his cynical and under-motivated co-workers, he labors fruitlessly under the bone-headed leadership of the Pointy-Haired Boss. Occasionally Dogbert, Dilbert's super-intelligent dog, gets Dilbert caught up in another wild money-making scheme, to Dilbert's regret. Written by Mike Konczewski

Yet another show too good for the general public
21 September 2002 | by See all my reviews

A clever and imaginative cartoon based on the popular comic strip, Dilbert was aimed at an educated adult audience. That's why it failed: Most people who would have enjoyed it probably never saw it. After all it's ratings, not quality which keep a show running. Unfortunately so, because Dilbert is not your mindless everyday sitcom stultification.
