Storyline

When is an enemy not an enemy? when is an ally not an ally? The answer to these questions determines the fate of a man. Simon's struggle is played out against the rugged landscape of northern Norway. Raised in a close-knit community, he bears the scars of a childhood haunted by rumors. During World War II, the Russians and Americans become a presence in this remote landscape, which will have far-reaching consequences. Victimized by rumor and Norway's shifting political allegiances, Simon is denied the final reconciliation he longs for with his community and with himself. When the Berlin Wall falls, his life is once more turned upside down. Written by Sofie

Open your mind to this movie and perhaps the Twentieth Century History will burn your soul.
16 March 2003 | by (Umeå, Sweden) – See all my reviews

Consider you have never seen a movie before. Consider life is a chaos where your fantasies, your past and your future are mixed together. Your eyes are washed; your mind can be curious again.

Are you finally ready to watch Burnt by Frost ?? Well, now you are the witness of the life of a spy. The betrayal and the masquerades hurt his identity and he vanishes between U.R.S.S, Norway and the rest of the universe. History is made of levels that can comeback at any time, like memories.

Are you subject to an hallucination?? No, but maybe for the first time you have to watch a movie.

And you have to remain humble and thankful for that.
