Storyline

Three teenage boys in small-town Southern Ontario are thrilled when Luke Cooper, a mysterious American fugitive with a gunshot wound in his leg, decides to crash their secret hideout. Luke tells them that he's a cop on the run from corrupt colleagues, and swears them to silence. As he recuperates, he becomes their buddy and confidante. By the time the boys realize Luke is not who he pretends to be, they're in way over their heads. Written by Scott Rollans <srollans@freenet.edmonton.ab.ca>

Third act is redeeming... first 2 are watchable
19 September 2012 | by (Valhalla) – See all my reviews

John Fawcett in my opinion is a competent director and would like to see more of his work.

This movie for the first 2 thirds is basically about these three teenage boys who hang out at an old derelict house, they find a cop (or so he says) who is in need of their help.

What I will say about this movie is that the first hour or so of the thing is basically build-up. After that the movie actually gets pretty good. My one complaint about the build-up is you NEVER feel it until it actually happens.

So all in all a good Canadian film.
