Trivia:
Originally conceived as a vehicle for latina actress Mel Gorham, the original pilot was centered around Gorham as a wacky worker in a Florida souvenir shop who moved to New York and found herself at a diner surrounded by equally wacky characters. Before it aired, the network and producers decided Gorham wasn't the right fit for the series, and the show was retooled as more of an ensemble piece, with Constance Marie in the now-reduced role vacated by Gorham.

Yet another sitcom about a bunch of incredibly good looking people living in New York City. When the show was on it was between two shows about good looking people living in New York City: Friends and Seinfeld. Like Friends but I won't say about Seinfeld the show just wasn't very funny. There were not many attempts at humor in this show so therefore it wasn't very funny. This show would be nothing compared to the great NBC Thursday night shows of the eighties.
The show revolved around a coffee shop in downtown New York City. Character actor Jeffrey Anderson-Gunter was the proprietor of the shop. He contributed a nice presence to the show but this show was too fargone for anyone to save. The reason I say this was a demographic show is because the show was aimed at white males aged 18-35, and it was highly watched, only because it was between two very successful shows. If this show is ever on again watch something else, there are much better things on TV.
