Quotes

Edgler Vess: [to Ariel] Please don't think that you can starve yourself to death because you're not going to escape me like that. I just won't let it happen. I'll just go out and I'll get a rubber tube and I'll shove it down your throat so that I can pump baby food into your stomach. Now let's see, what would I put on a menu like that? Um, do you like pureed peas, crushed up carrots? Oh I know, l-l-l-lima beans?

One of the greatest made-for-TV movies I have seen...
15 July 2000 | by (Poland) – See all my reviews

Usually I don't like TV movies, but this one is good. Some sequences like two killings in the gas station are quite intense and terrifying without being gratuitously violent. The acting is reliable and the film's atmosphere is eerie.Surely this is the best adaptation of Dean Koontz's book I have seen. The ending is one hell of a surprise. The film-makers should make more adaptations of Koontz(however "Phantoms" by Joe Chappelle is complete piece of crap). The actor John C.McGinley as a killer rocks!
