Dawson's Creek (1998) - News Poster

Let's Talk About the Final Shocking Minutes of On My Block

Warning: Big spoilers for the season one finale of On My Block below! On My Block is the latest coming-of-age comedy to hit Netflix, but don't misunderstand - this is not yet another attempt to re-create the magic of shows like Freaks and Geeks or Dawson's Creek. The young cast - Jason Genao, Sierra Capri, Diego Tinoco, Brett Gray, and Ronni Hawk - is incredibly talented, and also incredibly diverse. On My Block, cocreated by Awkward's Lauren Iungerich, Jeremy Haft, and Eddie Gonzalez follows lifelong friends Monse (Capri), Ruby (Genao), Cesar (Tinoco), and Jamal (Gray) as they navigate the ups and downs of both freshman year of high school and life in general in a rough neighborhood of South Central La. As the flawless soundtrack pulses in the background, the crew is forced to grapple with some seriously harsh realities when Cesar is basically forced to join his older brother Oscar's gang.

These Student-Teacher Romances Will Definitely Creep You out

Students of all ages are supposed to be able to trust their teachers — but in some cases, that trust crossed the line, as there have been countless true crime cases of teachers forming a romantic relationship with their underage students. In some instances, the accused have admitted to having a casual sexual relationship with a student, while others claimed that despite the age gap, the two were in love. In pop culture, teacher-student relationships are often romanticized. In the popular drama Pretty Little Liars, high school student Aria Montgomery falls for writer Ezra Fitz before learning that he's actually her new English teacher. Despite their age difference, the two begin dating, and even her parents are made aware of the situation — yet the inappropriate relationship is never seen as a crime. Who Is Griffin Sinclair From Jessica Jones?

The second season of Jessica Jones has dropped on Netflix, and there's a handsome (but also suspicious) new face rolling with Jones' squad this season: Griffin Sinclair, played by Hal Ozsan (Dawson's Creek, Graceland). Read on for why we think he may be up to no good, but be warned of spoilers from Jessica Jones season two. Sinclair pops up on Jessica Jones as a TV news anchor who begins dating Trish Walker, Jessica's Bff. He's not actually a character from the Marvel comics universe; he was developed brand new for the Netflix show, but he's a great match for Trish because they both have some experience with fame, as she is a former child star and now semifamous radio host. He also seems like pretty much the perfect guy - and even when his perfect-guy-ness sets off Jessica's alarm bells, he comes back completely clean when she runs a background check on him.

The Walking Dead's Regina Looks Completely Different in Her Other Big Role

Image Source: AMC I know what you've been thinking: "Who's this new badass b*tch on The Walking Dead?" Regina is introduced in season eight's first episode, "Mercy." Since then, we've seen her character build up pretty quickly, and it looks like she'll be taking on a big role as this season plays out. But who is the actress, and where have you seen her before? Traci Dinwiddie made her film debut in 1998 in the TV movie Target Earth, in which she played Dep. Madeline Chandler, one of the agents put on the case to find a missing girl. You might better recognize her though from her role as Veronica in The Notebook (2004) and her short stint as Dancer #5 in Black Knight (2001). She's also guest-starred in a few popular TV shows, including One Tree Hill and Dawson's Creek. Despite some of her softer roles, do not be mistaken, Dinwiddie is no stranger to psychological thrillers.

Yes, You've Seen Carol From The Walking Dead on Screen Before

Image Source: AMC Rick Grimes, King Ezekiel, and Maggie Greene might technically run things with the allied squads on The Walking Dead, but it's Carol Peletier who seems to come in on the clutch most often throughout the series. Remember how she handles the terrible business of dealing with the prison's ill population, then takes care of Lizzie, and manages to save everyone from the Terminus cannibal crew, even after being exiled and ostracized by them? That's boss behavior right there. Carol always seems to take her leave from the group just in time to position herself as an outside asset when she's most needed. She has a foresight that's increasingly rare in this generation of act-first-think-later strategists (lookin' at you, Sheriff). Ezekiel and Jerry would certainly be hobbling around looking for brains to munch on if not for her quick thinking this week, and pretty much everyone else can

10 Things About The Dark Knight You Never Knew

10 Things About The Dark Knight You Never Knew
The Dark Knight is one of the greatest comic book movies of all time, ranked among the popcorn cinema elite in fan polls as one of the best movies ever. The penultimate chapter of Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy saw Christian Bale's Batman go up against the Joker, portrayed with haunting villainy by the late Heath Ledger, who won a posthumous Oscar for the role. Ledger's commitment to the character is the stuff of legend. But there were plenty of other cool facts behind the scenes, as well.

Katie Holmes skipped the sequel to make a terrible comedy.

Memento filmmaker Christopher Nolan rescued the World's Greatest Detective from the train wreck of glossy camp that was Joel Schumacher's Batman and Robin with 2005's Batman Begins, a serious minded reboot adored by fans and critics. Katie Holmes co-starred as Bruce Wayne love interest Rachel Dawes, but the Dawson's Creek
