James Van Der Beek by himself? Hot. James Van Der Beek as a doting dad? Sexy as hell. The former Dawson's Creek star showed off his beautiful family on Sunday when they hit the red carpet at the Safe Kids Day event at Smashbox Studios in Culver City, CA. James, who recently made headlines for enduring a painfully awkward morning show interview, seemed to put those bad vibes behind him when he posed for photos with his wife, Kimberly, and their daughters Emilia and Olivia. He then cuddled up to their other daughter, Annabel, inside the fun event and munched on In-n-Out burgers (their son, Joshua, appeared to sit this one out). Of course, this isn't the first time we've seen James being cute with his kids. The actor frequently posts candid photos of his family's home life on Instagram, and they make us melt every. Single. Time. »

With his return to the small screen in the 2017 British sitcom Carters Get Rich, we couldn't help but notice how handsome James still is. Allow these 17 photos to remind you why James is still a certified heartthrob. RelatedIt's Dawson and Pacey! James Van Der Beek and Joshua Jackson Reunite »

Charlie Hunnam was just a teenager when he first got married, which wound up being some of the most "terrible, painful" years of his life.
During a recent interview with the Associated Press in Las Vegas, the Sons of Anarchy star detailed his Vegas wedding to actress Katharine Towne, whom he met in 1999 at a Dawson's Creek audition when he was 18 years old.
"First time I was ever in Vegas, I got married, which didn't turn out that well," Hunnam, 37, recalled. "I'd known the girl for three weeks, and we'd fallen madly in love. It was the first time I had ever been in love."
The couple made the hasty decision to elope before Hunnam had to head back to England. "We thought, 'What if we never see each other again? Let's get married and then we'll have to see »
You may know all about Charlie Hunnam's longtime girlfriend, Morgana McNelis, but did you know that he was actually married back in the early 2000s? The British actor recently opened up to the Associated Press about tying the knot with actress Katharine Towne when he was 18 years old, revealing that the pair met during a Dawson's Creek audition and eloped to Vegas three weeks later. "It was the first time I'd ever been in love," he said, adding that he had to return to England and they were worried about losing touch. He explained, "In our 18-year-old minds, we thought, 'What if we never see each other again? Let's get married, and then we'll have to see each other again, even if it's just to get divorced.'" The couple was married from 1999 to 2002 in what Charlie called "three terrible, painful, expensive years," but in a "small victory," he »

This year marks 20 years since the debut of Daria, the MTV series about a bespectacled, combat boot-wearing misfit whose defining trait was, on the surface, a deep disdain for those around her. In the years since viewers were first introduced to Daria Morgendorffer, she's become a heroine of sorts for many who saw (or still see) themselves as outsiders – particularly women – for whom mainstream depictions of non-traditional characters were, at the time, few and far between. (Cher from Clueless and the Spice Girls weren't exactly relatable if you were a weird girl in the 1990s. »
A lot has changed since Katie Holmes divorced Tom Cruise back in 2012, but one thing has stayed the same: her dedication to privacy. Five years ago, the former Dawson's Creek star made the difficult decision to part ways with the A-list actor in what could only have been described as the biggest celebrity split of the year. "Kate has filed for divorce and Tom is deeply saddened and is concentrating on his three children," Cruise's publicist said at the time before adding, "Please allow them their privacy." Meanwhile, Holmes' divorce attorney weighed in on the family matter, saying the following in a statement: "Katie's primary concern remains, as it always has »
Hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby spoke about the various accomplishments Creek alums Katie Holmes, Michelle Williams and Joshua Jackson have had in their careers before saying, "But what happened to the main man himself, Mr. James Van Der Beek?"
"He's here now, and that's what he looks like," said Schofield, as if it were a big reveal.
"I have been on television the last 20 years, just to let you know," responded Van Der Beek, »

That was a tough start...
Sure, James Van Der Beek had his breakout role on a show called the teen drama Dawson's Creek, but since then, the 40-year-old actor -- as well as several of his co-stars -- has gone on to have a prolific career -- something that didn't exactly come across during two interviewers' introduction of Van Der Beek on the British talk show This Morning.
"Almost 20 years on, Katie Holmes is a leading Hollywood actress, she famously married Tom Cruise, Michelle Williams, you see four Oscar nominations ... Joshua Jackson plays the jilted husband in the Golden Globe-winning drama, The Affair," the interviewers remark. "But what happened to the main man himself, Mr. James Van Der Beek?"
Van Der Beek kept polite during the moment, while visibly appearing to notice how the lead-in makes it seem »
James Van Der Beek has been in Hollywood for more than 20 years. While the successful actor is most well-known for his role as teenager Dawson Leery in the hit show Dawson's Creek, he's had so many other amazing roles in the almost 14 years since then. But during his appearance on Britain's This Morning on Thursday, hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby didn't seem to want to focus on his impressive career. While attempting to introduce James on their show, they awkwardly talked about the accomplishments of his former costars, calling Katie Holmes "a leading Hollywood actress" and pointing out Michelle Williams's four Oscar nominations. They then said of James: "But what happened to the main man himself? He's here now and this is what he looks like." The camera cuts to a very irritated-looking James, who tries to emphasize that he too has done a lot since Dawson's Creek. »

Kudos to James Van Der Beek for keeping it together during an excruciating interview with British morning show This Morning. Co-hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby introduced the actor in a way that made it seem like he hadn't been on TV since Dawson's Creek, launching what went on to be a very uncomfortable live interview. "What happened to the main man himself, Mr James Van Der Beek?" Schofield asked, rhetorically. "He's here now, and that's what he looks like." This Morning displayed a photo of Van Der Beek from more than 20 years ago, and the actor looked less than pleased about it. "I have been on television the last 20 years, just to let you know," Van Der Beek »
Katie Holmes is a sports fan you don't want to mess with.
"I'm a big basketball fan, I come from a big basketball family," she explained. "My dad played at Marquette under Al McGuire, so everyone is, like, very good in my family except for me. But we were just at the Ncaa this weekend at Msg and it was incredible. We watched the South Carolina-Florida game, and the Florida-Wisconsin game ... oh my God!"

Less than a year after splitting from Diane Kruger, it appears Joshua Jackson is back in the dating scene. On Thursday, the former Dawson's Creek actor was spotted enjoying a romantic date with a mystery woman in NYC. The two sipped on wine and shared a sweet kiss inside The Immigrant restaurant, where onlookers told E! News, "they were both smiling and laughing . . . They left the bar at midnight together and went back to his hotel, walking about five blocks and holding hands. They looked super happy." While it's unknown how long they have been seeing each other, Joshua admitted to Ellen DeGeneres back in December that his dating game was a little rusty, saying, "Everything's in your phone now. There's no more talking to people anymore. You talk to somebody and they're like, 'Ugh, no no. We don't do that anymore.'" Perhaps he got a few pointers from »

Joshua Jackson doesn't wanna wait for his (love) life to be over. So, nearly eight months after his amicable breakup with Diane Kruger, the Dawson's Creek actor is getting back into the dating game. In fact, Jackson was spotted with a mystery brunette at The Immigrant in New York City's East Village Thursday night. The pair arrived together just after 9 p.m. and grabbed "a table by the window," a source tells E! News exclusively. An hour and a half later, the new couple was "leaning across table and kissing somewhat passionately." "They were both smiling and laughing," a source adds, noting that they drank several "rounds of red wine" but didn't appear to order any »
Katie Holmes is adamant that she's a mother first and an actress second.
In an interview with Town & Country's April issue, the 38-year-old star says she takes her role as the mother of 10-year-old Suri Cruise very seriously. "My child is the most important person to me, and her upbringing is paramount to my work right now," she shares. "It’s very important that I’m present and she has a stable, innocent childhood."

As many parents can attest to, the Dawson's Creek actress notes that Suri is growing up fast. "Every day, kids get a little further away from you," she says. "That's a positive thing. They should be becoming more independent, but it's heartbreaking »

This murder mystery isn't as simple as it looks.
Of course, Cheryl knew more about Jason's disappearance. (Scratch that, it's a murder!) She's his twin And the last person who saw him. It's not looking good for her...
First and foremost, do you think Cheryl killed him? (Or is somehow involved?) I'm not sure.
The signs are all there though: She's meaner to Betty than usual, the guilt is getting to her, and she's already lied. Cheryl is the poster child for someone with a secret. I could see her being the killer, but it's too easy.
She's also actively trying to find the killer. The look she gave Betty while interrogating her was terrifying, but she's not exactly "killing twin" evil. »

Ocean's 8 will be a reboot of George Clooney's Ocean's 11 franchise, and while everyone involved has kept a tight lip about the plot we do know that it will feature an all female cast and pictured above are the eight women rumored to be the actual "Ocean's 8". Now, I know where almost everyone's mind is heading right now -- way back to 2016 when an all female cast massacred Ghostbusters, tore the franchise to shreds, and stomped in the face of "Bill effing Murray" who was actually kind enough to lend his celebrity status to the movie. I do not think this will be the case in Ocean's 8 and the main reason is the caliber of most of the actresses involved. Let's take a look at the eight in the picture and a few more ladies involved as well.

Michelle Williams and Busy Philipps have a friendship that has spanned nearly 20 years - which is like a century in Hollywood years. The two met while starring on Dawson's Creek together in the early 2000s and have cultivated an inspiring, supportive, and long-lasting bond. Busy is the godmother of Michelle's daughter, Matilda, from her marriage to Heath Ledger, and most recently she was accompanied by her Bff at a screening for her new film Manchester by the Sea. Michelle told reporters of Busy, "I'm so in love with her. She's proof that the love of your life does not have to be a man! That's the love of my life right there." Awww! Prepare to smile (and feel nostalgic) as you look back on photos of their friendship. Of all the comic book adaptations that have flooded film and television in recent years, perhaps none are as ambitious as Riverdale. The CW’s attempt to transport the family-friendly cast of Archie Comics into a dark and soapy teen drama could have been disastrous, but instead, it looks to be a very promising offering, calling to mind some of the network’s greatest hits, like Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill.
Here’s six reasons why you should set your DVR for Riverdale, and prepare yourselves for a new fave.
One of the greatest things a teen drama can do is introduce viewers to a whole new cast of nearly-unknown hotties to swoon over. This is why certain segments of the population still dream of Adam Brody as the ultimate boyfriend or give Jared Leto a pass for almost anything.
Riverdale does just »
