Trivia:
Was produced alongside season one of Jonathan Creek; the BBC decided to run with Creek as they felt it's main premise had more scope than Crime Traveller's. The feeling was that due to the limited abilities of the time machine within the narrative, every story possibility had been covered during the eight episodes of the series. Not all fans agreed with this however, some believed that extending the length of time the protagonists could travel back, (or even forward as a new take on the series), could have made for a respectable season two.See more »

Classic, 2 May 2000
Author: Joshua Sweet from London, England

I'm afraid I have to disagree with people who say this show is hopeless, it is magical, the effort and time it must have taken to build the Time Machine, and the acting is superb, it makes you want to believe that someone somewhere actually has a time machine hidden away.

Never mind the transparent plot, watch episode one and you'll be hooked until the eighth and last one.

It's addictive. And I haven't got the faintest idea why.
